Peshawar – 30 April 2025: Ambassador Mohammad Sadiq addressed the convocation at the Institute of Management Sciences (IMSciences), where 300 Afghan students graduate and received graduation honors.
These students completed degrees from top Pakistani universities under Pakistan’s fully funded Allama Iqbal Scholarships Program.
The ambassador congratulated the graduates, highlighting their achievement as a testament to regional cooperation and academic excellence. He said, “These talented students from across Afghanistan are now equipped to contribute to their country’s development and future.”
The Allama Iqbal Scholarships Program is part of Pakistan’s broader initiative to promote people-to-people ties and support human capital development in Afghanistan. Since its inception, the program has enabled hundreds of Afghan youth to access higher education in fields such as engineering, health, management, and social sciences.
The graduation ceremony reflected strong academic collaboration and cultural exchange between the neighboring countries. Officials at IMSciences praised the dedication and hard work of the Afghan students during their academic journey.
Ambassador Sadiq noted that investing in education lays the foundation for peace and stability in the region.
He urged the graduates to use their knowledge and experience to serve their communities back home. The event was attended by faculty, students, and dignitaries who applauded the scholars’ perseverance.
