Millions of pilgrims are gathered today at the plains of Arafat to perform Wuquf-e-Arafat, the most essential ritual of Hajj. This sacred rite symbolizes humility, unity, and devotion as pilgrims stand in prayer and reflection.

On Monday, pilgrims reached Mina, also known as the city of tents. They spent the night there in worship and spiritual preparation. After offering Fajr prayers, the massive crowd moved toward Arafat early in the morning.

Security and health authorities ensured smooth transport and emergency services throughout the route. Volunteers and officials guided pilgrims with water, food, and medical assistance.

At Arafat, pilgrims listened to the Hajj sermon delivered from Masjid-e-Nimrah. The sermon emphasized peace, faith, and submission to Allah. Shortly after, the faithful offered combined and shortened Zuhr and Asr prayers.

Spiritual Peak and Journey to Muzdalifah

As the sun began to set, pilgrims remained engaged in prayer and personal reflection. Many sought forgiveness, recited Quranic verses, and made heartfelt supplications.

Following sunset, pilgrims started moving toward Muzdalifah, where they will spend the night under the open sky. There, they will collect pebbles for the next day’s Rami ritual—symbolizing the rejection of evil.

Muzdalifah also marks a time for rest and renewed commitment. Despite fatigue, pilgrims expressed gratitude for being part of this divine gathering.

Saudi authorities, including health teams and security forces, remain on high alert to manage the crowd and ensure safety. Emergency services are stationed throughout the route from Arafat to Muzdalifah.

The journey of Hajj continues tomorrow with Rami at Jamarat, followed by Qurbani (sacrifice), and Tawaf-e-Ziyarah in Makkah. Each step reflects devotion, patience, and sacrifice.

This day of Wuquf-e-Arafat marks both a physical and spiritual milestone. As pilgrims stand united in prayer, the message of peace, equality, and submission to God echoes across the world.
