Suicide Attack at Islamabad District Court Planned by TTP’s Noor Wali Mehsud, Says Info Minister

IslamabadInformation Minister Attaullah Tarar on Tuesday revealed that the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) chief, Noor Wali Mehsud, orchestrated the November 11 suicide blast outside Islamabad’s Judicial Complex. The attack resulted in the deaths of 12 people and left 35 others injured. Authorities later confirmed the arrest of four TTP terrorists connected to the incident.

TTP Facilitators Identified

During a press briefing in Islamabad, Tarar shared details of communications between the four arrested facilitators and TTP commanders operating from Afghanistan. The minister identified them as Sajidullah alias Sheena, Kamran Khan, Muhammad Zali, and Shah Munir. Role of Arrested Terrorist Sajidullah

Tarar played a video statement from Sajidullah, describing his role as the suicide bombers handler. Sajidullah arranged the bomber’s jacket and guided him to the site of the attack. Sajidullah is a resident of Bajaur in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He joined the TTP in 2015 and is currently in Afghanistan, according to the minister.

Investigation Ongoing

Authorities are continuing investigations into the network behind the Islamabad Judicial Complex blast, with further arrests and counter-terrorism measures expected.
