Balochistan_ On Wednesday, militants from the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) attempted suicide and armed attacks on Frontier Corps (FC) centers in Nushki and Chagai. Security forces responded swiftly, preventing the attacks and neutralizing the threat.

Security Operations Underway

Following the attacks, authorities have heightened security measures and launched search operations in both districts to ensure no militants remain in the area. The administration has not yet confirmed casualties or detailed information about the attackers.

Background of Militancy in Balochistan

Balochistan has witnessed frequent clashes between security forces and militant groups, including BLF, over recent months. These attacks are part of a pattern of ongoing violence targeting government and security institutions.

BLF Claims Female Suicide Bomber

Separately, the BLF has released an image claiming that the suicide bomber was a female militant identified as Zarina Rafiq Alias Trang Mahoo, who carried out the attack using an explosive-laden vehicle. In the photo, she is seen holding a US-made Colt / FN M4A1 carbine.
