Islamabad – Chairman and Founder of the Pakistani Forum of Eurasian People Friendship (PFEPF), Dr. Saqib Khan, has expressed his grave concerns over the latest news about an event that occurred at the house of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

He cited the situation as a disturbing development that may have far-reaching implications for the regional stability and international peace.

Upholding Diplomatic Norms

In an announcement issued in Islamabad, Dr. Khan raised the crucial role of adhering to global regulations of behavior.

He said that the security and honor of global leaders were fundamental values that make diplomatic affairs healthy.

“When the principles are endangered, it can easily endanger the trust and amicable discussions that countries strive to develop,” he stated.

The Incident at the Kremlin

The concerns follow a significant security breach in Moscow, where the Russian government reported a drone attack targeting the Kremlin, the official residence of President Putin.

According to official reports, two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were used in an attempt to strike the heart of the Russian leadership.

While the drones were disabled by electronic defense systems and no casualties were reported, the symbolic nature of the attack on a head of state’s residence has sent shockwaves through the diplomatic community.

The Importance of Restraint

He called for all parties to exercise restraint to protect the stability of the region.

Dr. Khan observed that any form of action perceived to pose a threat to a head of state would compromise the respect and collaboration to resolve international issues.

In his opinion, it is imperative to uphold these diplomatic borders in order to have a predictable and safe world.

When these principles are threatened by direct strikes on executive residences, it risks damaging the trust and peaceful dialogue that nations work hard to build, directly impacting regional stability.

A Call for Peaceful Dialogue

Reiterating the long-standing dedication of the PFEPF to peace, Dr. Khan demanded transparency and international law. He pointed out that diplomacy is the best weapon to solve conflicts even in hard times.

Avoiding escalation by engaging in dialogue will help countries preserve regional stability and secure a safer future for all.

Dr. Khan concluded by encouraging everyone to be cautious and emphasized that constructive engagement is the only possible way forward to dealing with the global complex challenges that we face today.
