Islamabad – Pakistan has announced the revocation of citizenship for more than 7,500 militants affiliated with terrorist organizations. These include members of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Hizbul Ghazi Brigade (HGB), and Jammat Ul Akhrar, all of whom are registered in the NADRA system, sources of the Interior Ministry told HTN.

Authorities confirmed that all bank accounts, properties, and movable and immovable assets belonging to these militants have been confiscated and transferred to the state. This action is part of Pakistan’s broader counterterrorism strategy to dismantle financial and logistical networks of terrorist groups operating within and along the country’s borders.

The Interior Ministry sources emphasized that this step will weaken the operational capabilities of these groups, prevent them from funding terrorist activities, and further reinforce Pakistan’s commitment to national security.

Officials also highlighted that monitoring of militant activities will continue, and any individual found supporting or financing these organizations will face strict legal action under Pakistan’s counterterrorism laws.
