A teenage student, Sania, has reportedly been missing since December 30, 2025, according to her family. The case has drawn attention after her father addressed a press conference, expressing grave concern over her disappearance and announcing complete disassociation from her amid fears that she may have been influenced by militant networks.

Family members allege that groups such as the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) target young girls through psychological pressure, emotional manipulation, and persuasive slogans, attempting to draw them into activities that serve broader political or militant agendas. They claim vulnerable youth are often approached under the guise of activism or empowerment, only to be used for purposes they may not fully understand.

During the press conference, Sania’s father appeared visibly distressed, stating that the family had exhausted efforts to locate her. He warned other families to remain vigilant and urged community leaders to prevent the exploitation of young women in the region.

The incident has sparked renewed debate in Balochistan about the vulnerability of young students to radical narratives and the emotional toll such disappearances take on families. Community voices are calling for increased awareness, stronger safeguards, and proactive engagement to protect young women from coercion or recruitment by armed or politically motivated groups.

Authorities have not yet released an official statement regarding the circumstances of the disappearance. Meanwhile, the case continues to trend online under hashtags advocating protection for Baloch women and condemning exploitation of families caught in conflict-driven narratives.
