Beijing – China has strongly condemned the killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, calling it a serious violation of Iran’s sovereignty and security.
A spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted to the incident, expressing firm opposition and strong condemnation of the act. The spokesperson emphasized that the killing of Ali Khamenei constitutes a grave breach of Iran’s sovereignty and security and violates the principles of the United Nations Charter and fundamental norms of international relations.
The spokesperson further urged that all military actions be halted immediately to reduce tensions. They also called for joint efforts to maintain peace and stability in the Middle East and across the globe.
