The Chief of the General Staff of Türkiye, Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, held a telephone conversation with Pakistan’s senior military leadership, Syed Asim Munir, who also serves as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.

According to official sources, the call reflected the ongoing close coordination and strategic relationship between Türkiye and Pakistan in the fields of defense and security. The two military leaders exchanged views on matters of mutual interest, regional developments, and avenues to further strengthen defense cooperation between the two countries.

Türkiye and Pakistan have long maintained strong military ties, including collaboration in training, defense technology, and strategic dialogue. Conversations between senior commanders are considered an important part of maintaining coordination and reinforcing the long-standing partnership between the armed forces of both nations.

Officials noted that such engagements contribute to enhancing military cooperation, promoting regional stability, and reinforcing the deep-rooted relationship between Ankara and Islamabad.
