Jhal Magsi- MARCH,30- Militants belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij carried out an attack on the Kotra police station in Jhal Magsi district, which was foiled due to a timely response by police and local residents.

According to police, the attackers opened fire during the assault. In the tragic incident, an 11-year-old boy, Faiz Hussain, who had gone to fetch water, was killed in the militants’ gunfire.

Under the leadership of the Station House Officer (SHO), police launched an immediate counter-operation, with strong support from local residents, forcing the attackers to flee.

During the operation, two militants were killed and four others were injured. Security agencies are conducting further investigations into the incident.

Authorities stated that a search operation is ongoing in the area, and actions against militants are being intensified.
