Islamabad’s Diplomatic Efforts Gain International Attention

Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts have received positive attention on the global stage. A Russian political expert, Anvar Azimov, has praised Islamabad for its growing role in regional peace and conflict resolution. He said Pakistan is now seen as an important mediator in complex international issues.

According to him, the joint efforts of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar helped create space for dialogue between the United States and Iran in Islamabad on 11 April. Although the talks did not reach a final outcome, he said the effort itself was a meaningful step.

Pakistan’s Balanced Relations Strengthen Its Global Role

Moving forward, the Russian expert highlighted that Pakistan’s balanced relationships with major countries such as the United States, China, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Iran have strengthened its diplomatic position. Because of this balance, Pakistan is increasingly viewed as a trusted and neutral bridge between conflicting sides.

In addition, he noted that Pakistan has shown consistency in maintaining a non aligned stance during regional tensions. This approach, he said, has allowed Islamabad to play a constructive role in reducing misunderstandings between global powers.

Mediation Role Seen as Growing Responsibility

Furthermore, Azimov stated that Pakistan’s diplomatic actions reflect a serious commitment to regional peace. He added that Pakistan is likely to continue facilitating dialogue between the United States and Iran in the future.

As a result, Pakistan’s image as a responsible international player is gaining strength. Analysts believe that such mediation efforts may increase Islamabad’s influence in global affairs, especially in regions where tensions remain high.

For now, Pakistan’s role as a facilitator of dialogue is being closely watched, with expectations that its diplomatic engagement will continue in the coming months.
