An unfortunate yet heroic incident occurred during a joint operation by security forces and police against criminals in Khuzdar district of Balochistan. According to police, a raid was carried out in the Bajoi area following intelligence about the presence of wanted suspects. During the operation, the hiding elements opened indiscriminate fire on the police. In the intense exchange of fire, Lady Constable Malak Naz embraced martyrdom while bravely fighting in the line of duty to protect public safety.
First Female Police Martyr in Balochistan
The martyrdom of Malak Naz marks an important chapter in the history of Balochistan Police, as she became the first female police officer in the province to sacrifice her life while on duty. Her supreme sacrifice is being widely hailed by security circles and the public as a symbol of courage and devotion to duty.
Mother of Three, Widowed Officer
According to family and private sources, Malak Naz had previously lost her husband, who was also a police officer and was martyred in the line of duty. After his sacrifice, she continued his mission and ultimately followed in his footsteps. She leaves behind three young children.
Tributes and Security Response
The Inspector General of Balochistan Police and other senior officials expressed deep sorrow over her martyrdom and paid rich tribute to her bravery. Officials stated that women like Malak Naz are the pride of Balochistan and her sacrifice will not go in vain. Meanwhile, a search operation has been intensified in Khuzdar and surrounding areas to arrest the suspects, and arrangements for her burial with full official honors have been completed.
