In separate militant attacks in Lakki Marwat and South Waziristan, a police officer and a Pakistan Army subedar were martyred, according to security officials.

Security forces have launched large-scale search operations to track down those responsible for the attacks.

Attack in Lakki Marwat

In the Ahmed Khel area of Lakki Marwat, armed militants ambushed a police party, opening fire and killing Police Officer Siddiqullah on the spot. Following the attack, police cordoned off the area and began an extensive search operation to apprehend the perpetrators.

Clash in South Waziristan

In a separate incident in Sararogha, South Waziristan, intense gunfire erupted between security forces and militant elements. During the exchange, Subedar Tahir of the Pakistan Army fought bravely and was martyred in the line of duty.

Security Response

Security sources said the attackers aim to destabilize peace and target law enforcement agencies to create fear and disrupt the security situation in the province. However, officials stressed that such attempts will not succeed.

Authorities reaffirmed that operations against militant groups will continue until the complete elimination of terrorism from the region, and vowed that all those involved will be brought to justice.
