The Balochistan government has launched a new Green Line bus service in Quetta to make travel easier for patients visiting the Cardiology Institute. The service was started on the instructions of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and aims to improve access to health care and public transport in the city.
Easy and Affordable Travel for Patients and Families
To begin with, officials say the new bus service will connect major parts of the city with the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute of Cardiology. This will help patients and their families reach the hospital safely and at a low cost. As a result, people who depend on public transport will no longer struggle to arrange private travel for medical visits.
Bus Timings and Route Details
Meanwhile, the buses will operate daily from 7 in the morning until 11 at night. To reduce waiting time, a bus will depart every forty five minutes. The route covers key areas including BA Mall, FC Hospital, Nawan Killi, Zarghoon Abad, Haji Manan, Labour Colony, Abdul Khaliq Chowk, Christian Colony, Highway Mart, Malizai, Nasran and NUST before reaching the Cardiology Institute.
In addition, government officials say this project is part of a wider effort to improve urban transport and public welfare services. Overall, the new Green Line bus service is being seen as an important step toward better mobility and easier access to health facilities for the people of Quetta.
