The Pakistan Navy carried out a major humanitarian rescue operation in the Arabian Sea, saving the crew of an Indian vessel stranded at sea.

The rescue mission was launched immediately after an emergency call was received from the Mumbai Marine Rescue Coordination Center.

According to details, the Indian ship MV Gautam was en route from Oman to India when it developed severe technical and mechanical faults in the middle of the sea, putting both the vessel and its crew at serious risk.

Following the distress alert from Mumbai, the Pakistan Navy swiftly deployed its frigate PNS Kashmir to assist the affected vessel.

Upon reaching the location, the Pakistan Navy frigate successfully rescued the Indian crew and transferred them to a safe location. The crew was also provided with necessary humanitarian assistance on the spot.

This timely action by the Pakistan Navy reflects strict adherence to international maritime laws and the highest principles of humanitarian responsibility, helping avert a potential major maritime disaster.
