A tragic shooting incident was reported in Turbat, where unidentified armed men opened fire on a vehicle, killing a lady constable and injuring her husband and young son, police officials said.

Attack in Absar Area

According to local police, the incident took place in the Absar area on the outskirts of Turbat. Unidentified assailants, reportedly lying in wait, opened indiscriminate fire on a passing vehicle.

As a result of the attack, the female police officer died on the spot, while her husband and their five-year-old son sustained serious gunshot injuries.

Emergency Response and Investigation

Law enforcement personnel and security officials rushed to the scene soon after the attack and cordoned off the area. The body of the deceased officer and the injured family members were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Hospital sources said the condition of the child and his father remains critical.

Search Operation Underway

Authorities have launched a large-scale search operation in the area and collected forensic evidence from the crime scene. Security forces have also established checkpoints in an effort to trace and arrest the attackers.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
