ISLAMABAD — Government and security sources have strongly denied claims made by the spokesperson of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) regarding the alleged extrajudicial detention of central leader Allama Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi.

According to officials, Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi is not in the custody of any state institution. Sources clarified that he is voluntarily keeping a low profile and staying away from public view due to ongoing legal cases against him, which include charges of inciting unrest, damaging state property, and provoking citizens against the government.

Legal and Administrative Records Show No Custody

Security sources emphasized that if Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi were indeed in custody, official records and court proceedings would confirm it. No verified documents or court appearances indicate any detention. Officials suggest that statements from TLP may be aimed at mobilizing supporters and gaining public sympathy rather than reflecting reality.

State Operates Within Legal Framework

Authorities reaffirmed that all actions are conducted strictly within the framework of the law. Hafiz Saad Hussain Rizvi is reportedly choosing to remain out of public view voluntarily, exercising his own discretion in light of multiple ongoing cases. The government continues to uphold the rule of law and maintain transparency in all operations.
