VANCOUVER_ A shocking revelation has emerged linking India’s intelligence agency RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) to the assassination of Sikh leader and industrialist Darshan Singh Sahsi, President of Canam International, in Canada.
According to credible investigative sources, the killing is part of a wider state-sponsored campaign orchestrated by the Modi government targeting Sikh separatist leaders abroad.
RAW’s Alleged Involvement in State-Sponsored Killings
Darshan Singh Sahsi, known for his advocacy for Sikh rights and the Khalistan movement, was shot dead in Vancouver earlier this week. Initial investigation reports and CCTV footage indicate direct involvement of operatives linked to India’s RAW.
Investigators have also reportedly uncovered connections between Indian consulate officials in Vancouver and the assassination plot, suggesting an organized international network operating under India’s diplomatic cover.
A Global Network Targeting Sikh Voices
The report reveals that RAW has established a transnational assassination network, targeting Sikh activists and pro-Khalistan figures in multiple countries under the guise of diplomatic missions. This revelation echoes previous accusations made after the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, another Sikh separatist leader, whose death sparked a major diplomatic row between Canada and India in 2023.
Sikhs for Justice Announce Nationwide Protests
Following the killing, the organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) has announced nationwide protests across Canada, accusing the Indian government of exporting state terrorism under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a statement, SFJ said that RAW, in coordination with Indian consulates, is systematically targeting Sikh leaders abroad to silence the Khalistan movement and suppress demands for Sikh sovereignty.
Emerging Angle
While investigations primarily point toward RAW’s involvement, some reports have also mentioned the Lawrence Bishnoi gang’s possible role in executing the hit. Analysts suggest the gang may have acted as a proxy front for Indian intelligence operations to mask direct state involvement.
Global Security Concerns and Diplomatic Fallout
Canadian security agencies have termed the incident a serious threat to national security, emphasizing that foreign state involvement in extrajudicial killings on Canadian soil is “unacceptable and alarming.” Experts believe this development could further strain Indo-Canadian relations and prompt international scrutiny of India’s expanding state-sponsored counter-dissident operations.
