Doha – The State of Qatar has officially welcomed fresh efforts by the legitimate Yemeni government to revive a path toward peace.

Qatar applauded the move to resolve the multifaceted Southern Issue by engaging in dialogue instead of confrontation in a touching gesture of support.

In signing the Yemeni Dialogue process, Qatar is hopeful of a brighter future in which the national issues are resolved through dialogue as a sign of its keen interest in the welfare of the brotherly Yemeni nation.

A Call for Unity in Riyadh

The President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council has invited a special conference to be convened in Riyadh.

Qatar praised this decision and claimed that the most efficient method of searching the just solutions is to invite all sides to the table.

The following forum in the Yemeni Dialogue process is regarded as a crucial chance where all the southern elements can engage in a positive manner. It aims at serving the interest of the people rather than political interest whereby all voices are listened to in the quest to seek a holistic political response.

Appreciation for Regional Partners

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs showed great appreciation of Saudi Arabia hosting this conference.

Qatar perceives this as the extension of the steadfast position of the Kingdom in ensuring stability and security in the region. In the context of the Yemeni Dialogue process, the Ministry emphasized the need to adhere to the past national results.

The agreements act as a guide to save the unity and sovereignty of Yemen and fulfill the long-term dreams of its citizens to live a life without the shadow of war.
