Kabul – The wife of Noor Wali Mehsud, the chief of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), has died due to hepatitis in the Khushal Khan Meena area of Kabul. She was laid to rest in the Diwanbegi Baba cemetery in the same area.

The funeral reportedly saw the participation of senior TTP leadership, highlighting the group’s internal cohesion despite ongoing pressures.

Security sources report that most TTP personnel are hiding in the border areas of Pakistan- Afghanistan, using remote and mountainous regions as safe havens. Internal clashes within the group continue to claim lives, demonstrating ongoing factionalism and instability.

Officials note that these developments underscore the persistent threat posed by TTP along the Pakistan border, complicating security operations within the country. Analysts also warn that militant networks often exploit internal rifts to strengthen their foothold in the region.

This incident comes amid increasing scrutiny of TTP activities and cross-border movement, with Pakistan authorities monitoring the group’s operations closely.
