Asia Cup 2025 Dates and Venue Announced

The Asian Cricket Council has announced that the official tournament schedule will be released soon.

July 26, 2025

Dubai | July 26, 2025 — The schedule and venue for the Asia Cup 2025 have officially been announced. The tournament will be hosted in the United Arab Emirates and will run from September 9 to September 28. Participating teams include Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, UAE, Hong Kong, and Oman.

Pakistan’s Interior Minister, PCB Chairman, and Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi made the announcement shortly after the Indian government cleared its cricket team to participate in the tournament.

“I am pleased to confirm the schedule for Asia Cup 2025, which will take place in the UAE,” said Mohsin Naqvi. “We are looking forward to exciting cricket contests, and the detailed match schedule will be released soon.”

There had been speculation that India might skip the tournament due to ongoing tensions with Pakistan. However, BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia dismissed such claims. “We are aware of reports suggesting that the BCCI has decided not to participate in ACC events like the Men’s Asia Cup and Women’s Emerging Asia Cup. These reports are completely baseless,” he clarified.

He added, “The BCCI has not had any discussions or taken any decisions regarding withdrawal from upcoming ACC events.”

The Asian Cricket Council has announced that the official tournament schedule will be released shortly.
