BAJAUR – APRIL 4- Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in Bajaur district after receiving reports of terrorist presence, resulting in the killing of four dangerous militants belonging to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

According to reports, the operation was carried out on April 4 based on highly sensitive intelligence, with the objective of ensuring the area remains secure and free from terrorist threats.

Afghan National Among Militants

Security officials confirmed that one of the four militants killed has been identified as Izzatullah alias Qari Uzair. Initial investigations revealed that he was a resident of Afghanistan’s Logar province and had crossed into Pakistan to carry out terrorist activities.

The identification process for the remaining three militants is ongoing in order to determine their backgrounds and links to broader networks.

Evidence of Cross-Border Involvement

The presence of an Afghan national among the militants has once again reinforced concerns that banned groups are using neighboring territory to conduct operations against Pakistan. Security analysts stated that this successful operation in Bajaur has dealt a significant blow to the militants’ command and control system and will help further stabilize the law and order situation in the region.

Security Forces Reaffirm Resolve

Following the operation, clearance activities were completed in the area to eliminate any possibility of the presence of additional militants. Security forces reiterated their commitment to defending the country’s borders and eradicating terrorism, emphasizing that anti-state elements will not be allowed to regroup under any circumstances.
