Security forces carried out an effective targeted operation against the banned militant group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Bajaur district, resulting in significant losses for the militants.

According to security sources, intense clashes between security forces and militants led to the killing of 10 TTP fighters. Verified reports indicate that several of those killed were Afghan nationals. In addition, 13 militants were reportedly injured during the operation.

Use of Modern Technology

The operation was conducted by Pakistani forces with the support of advanced surveillance technology, including quadcopters. These aerial systems were used to accurately identify militant hideouts and improve coordination between different operational units during the mission.

Officials stated that the use of modern technology helped block escape routes and played a key role in the overall success of the operation.
