In the third and decisive ODI played in Mirpur, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 11 runs in a thrilling contest to win the three-match series.
Batting first, Bangladesh scored 290 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Tanzid Hasan played a brilliant innings, scoring a century with 107 runs, while Towhid Hridoy remained unbeaten on 44. Litton Das scored 41, Saif Hassan added 36, and Najmul Hossain Shanto contributed 27 runs.
For Pakistan, Haris Rauf took 3 wickets, while Shaheen Shah Afridi and Abrar Ahmed picked up one wicket each.
Chasing the target, Pakistan were restricted to 279 runs in their allotted overs, allowing Bangladesh to win the match by 11 runs.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first. The Pakistan team included Sahibzada Farhan, Moaz Sadaqat, Ghazi Ghori, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Agha, Abdul Samad, Saad Masood, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Abrar Ahmed.
It is worth noting that Bangladesh won the first match of the series, while Pakistan won the second. However, with victory in the third match, Bangladesh secured the series.
