After last month’s deadly clashes along the Pak-Afghan border, both sides reconvene in Istanbul under Turkish mediation to address cross-border terrorism and ceasefire monitoring mechanisms.
According to diplomatic sources, the Istanbul talks will be hosted by Türkiye’s intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin and will focus on border tensions, counterterrorism, and confidence-building measures between the two neighbors.
