Suicide Attack Targets Police at Dajal Check Post
A suicide bomber struck police personnel at the Dajal Check Post in Bhakkar on February 24, 2026, at 18:54. The attack occurred on the interprovincial boundary across River Sindh. Officials have described the attack as deliberate, aimed at spreading fear and testing Pakistan’s resolve.
The bomber targeted law enforcement forces, who were on duty protecting citizens and maintaining security in the area. Immediate response from the police and other law enforcement agencies contained the situation, though some personnel lost their lives in the attack. Authorities have called it a serious act of organized terrorism involving external handlers and hostile intelligence agencies.
Authorities Warn Against Cross-Border Threats

They stressed that these outfits are being enabled by external forces seeking to destabilize Pakistan. Authorities have warned that those who support or facilitate terrorism will be held accountable.

At the same time, experts say Pakistan must continue investing in counterterrorism capacity. Officials emphasized that only strong capability and high morale can save lives in such attacks.
Meanwhile, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has been called on to lead from the front. Authorities reiterated that enemies of Pakistan are united, and the nation must respond with cohesion and one strong voice.
