Yousafzai claimed that the local population supported their presence. However, the reality was the opposite, as the majority of attendees protested loudly against the terrorists and left the ground in large numbers. Eyewitnesses reported that 9 to 10 armed individuals accompanied Saddam, attempting to spread fear and intimidation among civilians.

During the event, Saddam alias Abu Zar tried to justify his presence and claimed to enjoy public support. Despite this assertion, hundreds of locals shouted slogans against the terrorists and vacated the ground, while a few remained seated due to pressure. Tribal elders and residents expressed strong anger and concern, emphasizing that the reappearance of terrorist groups at public venues is alarming.
Public representatives demanded a full investigation into the incident and urged authorities to ensure law and order in the area. According to sources, security agencies have taken notice of the event, and preparations for a search operation within the Malord Police Station jurisdiction are underway. Residents emphasized their commitment to peace, clearly stating that they do not support any terrorist groups and stand with the state in maintaining security in their areas.
