NOWSHERA, PAKISTAN – A tragic accident struck the Dag Jadeed area in Nowshera when the roof of a house collapsed, burying eight family members under debris. According to reports, five individuals lost their lives while three others sustained injuries.

Rescue Operations and Emergency Response

Rescue teams worked tirelessly to recover all victims from the rubble. The deceased and injured were provided with immediate medical attention at the scene before being transferred to nearby hospitals for further treatment. Director of Operations Rescue Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Mir Alam Khan, and District Emergency Officer Nowshera, Malik Ashfaq Hussain, arrived at the site promptly to oversee the rescue efforts.

Ongoing Investigation

Authorities are investigating the cause of the roof collapse, while local officials have urged residents to ensure the structural safety of their homes to prevent similar tragedies.
