Dera Ismail Khan In a significant effort to restore safety to the region, Pakistan’s security forces successfully conducted a targeted mission in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan.

The intelligence-based operation occurred on December 24, after certain reports of a militant group in the area.

In the process, soldiers were successful in attacking the position and two militants were killed.

One of the people who were killed was a high-profile ringleader, Dilawar, whose elimination is a significant milestone to the law enforcement agencies that have been following him over a long period.

Ringleader with a Heavy Bounty

The death of Dilawar is particularly notable because he was one of the most wanted figures in the district.

The government had already pegged a head money of 4 million rupees on him because of his active participation in violent offenses.

Officials verified that Dilawar committed numerous terror attacks that claimed the lives of insecure men in the area and caused the death of innocent civilians, which is a major reprieve to the residents of the area.

Recovery of Weapons and Ammunition

After the confrontation, security services retrieved an assortment of weapons and ammunition at the location.

The militants employed these tools of violence to interfere with the peace and to attack the people.

Their seizure once again confirms that the group is actively engaged in destabilizing the area and that the ongoing counter-terrorism operation by the state is essential.

Commitment to Lasting Peace

The operation in Kulachi belongs to the larger vision of the Azm-e-Istehkam campaign, which has been given national approval to eliminate the terrorism threat.

Currently, sanitization efforts are still being conducted to ensure that no other remnants of the group remain hidden in the surrounding landscape.

The security forces are trying to achieve their pledged goal of providing a safe environment where all citizens can live their lives without any form of fear by working around the clock to ensure that all foreign-sponsored terrorists are eliminated.
