TEHRAN: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reportedly issued a strong warning to 18 major US technology companies, including Microsoft, Apple, Google, Intel, and Boeing, declaring them “legitimate military targets.”
According to Iranian media, the move comes in response to alleged recent “terrorist operations” and targeted killings carried out by the United States and Israel, in which these companies are accused of indirect involvement.
In its statement, the IRGC claimed that the listed companies are providing support for espionage and assassination activities through information and communication technology (ICT) and artificial intelligence (AI) systems. It further warned that these firms would now be subject to retaliatory actions by Iran.

The statement also instructed employees and civilians living near the offices and facilities of these companies to evacuate an area within a one-kilometer radius to avoid potential harm.
Iranian authorities have issued an ultimatum, stating that the designated targets could be struck at 8:00 PM Tehran time on April 1. They added that institutions facilitating “terrorism under the guise of technology” will face consequences.
