In the Orakzai district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces and police have arrested two foreign operatives linked to the global terrorist organization Islamic State Khorasan (ISIS-K) during a joint operation. According to police sources, the arrested individuals are from Azerbaijan and have been identified as Kazim Ghor and Muhammad Younis.

Details indicate that security agencies received a tip-off about the presence of suspicious individuals in a sensitive area of Orakzai. Acting promptly, they cordoned off the area and took the foreign nationals into custody. Initial investigations revealed that both suspects were working for the ISIS “Khorasan Chapter” and had entered the area illegally from across the border.

Police officials stated that important documents and maps were recovered from the arrested terrorists, which are currently under detailed examination. Security sources further noted that their arrest will help uncover a major terrorist network in the region.

Currently, the suspects have been transferred to an undisclosed location for intensive interrogation to determine their local facilitators and the planned scale of any potential attack.
