Bhimber – 29 April 2025: The Pak Army shoots down an Indian quadcopter after it violated Pakistan’s airspace at the Line of Control (LoC), officials confirmed.
According to security sources, the incident occurred in the Bhimber sector’s Manawar area when the Indian quadcopter attempted surveillance. The Pakistan Army thwarted the Indian attempt by promptly shooting down the quadcopter during its airspace violation across the LoC.
Security sources emphasized that the timely action of the forces foiled the enemy’s malicious intent effectively.
They reiterated that the Pakistan Army remains fully prepared to respond immediately and decisively to any act of aggression. The Pak Army shoots down drones and other hostile attempts regularly to safeguard Pakistan’s territorial integrity along the contested border.
Meanwhile, tensions between Pakistan and India have risen sharply after a deadly attack in Indian administrated Kashmir’s Pahalgam area. On April 22, 26 people were killed and several others injured after a shooting incident at the tourist site.
Following the incident, India, without providing evidence, leveled accusations against Pakistan and suspended the Indus Waters Treaty unilaterally. However, Pakistan condemned the Pahalgam attack and offered full cooperation for an impartial international investigation into the matter.
Despite Pakistan’s diplomatic approach, India continued issuing threats and aggressive rhetoric against Pakistan.
In response, Pakistan’s political and military leadership warned India against any adventurism across the border. They declared that any misadventure would receive a strong, unforgettable response ensuring Pakistan’s sovereignty and national dignity.
Both nations continue to face heightened tensions amid the ongoing accusations and preparations at their shared borders.
