Pakistan has expressed deep concern over the recent incident at Khor Fakkan port in the United Arab Emirates, where an intercepted projectile caused injuries to civilians, including Pakistani nationals. Authorities in Islamabad said they are closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with UAE officials.

The government confirmed that several civilians were injured when the projectile struck the port area. While the details of the attack are still being investigated, Pakistan has emphasized the safety and well-being of its citizens abroad.

In a statement, Pakistan prayed for the swift recovery of the injured and assured that all necessary support would be extended to its nationals. Officials highlighted that they are in constant contact with UAE authorities to provide assistance where needed.

Meanwhile, Pakistan reaffirmed its solidarity with the people of the UAE, describing the two countries’ relationship as “brotherly and longstanding.” The statement stressed the importance of calm and restraint during a time of heightened regional tensions.

At the same time, Pakistani officials called for de-escalation and urged all parties to act responsibly to prevent further incidents. The government also underlined the need to protect civilians and maintain peace in the region

Islamabad said it will continue diplomatic engagement with the UAE to ensure the safety of its citizens and support efforts toward regional stability. The incident highlights ongoing security challenges in the Gulf, but Pakistan’s response reflects its commitment to solidarity, humanitarian concern, and calm diplomacy.
