Islamabad, Pakistan — Pakistan emphasized its continued commitment to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the principles of regional solidarity during a press briefing by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 15 January 2026. Officials highlighted Pakistan’s active engagement in promoting OIC initiatives for peace, development, and cooperation among member states.
Spokespersons noted that Pakistan remains focused on strengthening multilateral partnerships within the OIC framework and ensuring that member countries coordinate on key regional and international issues. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and other senior leaders reaffirmed Pakistan’s role in supporting joint OIC resolutions and initiatives.
