He is on a multi-country tour that also includes Qatar and Turkiye from April 15 to 18.

In addition, he is accompanied by senior officials including the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Atta Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi. At the same time, Pakistan’s role in facilitating dialogue between Iran and the United States is gaining attention. According to official sources, a high-level Pakistani delegation led by Field Marshal Asim Munir has arrived in Tehran for important diplomatic consultations.

The delegation is working to support ongoing communication between Iran and the United States, especially as efforts continue to restart structured negotiations. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi is also part of the visiting team, reflecting the importance of the discussions.

Moreover, Iranian officials have confirmed that Pakistan is playing a key role in exchanging messages between the two sides. Reports suggest that the next round of Iran–US talks could take place in Islamabad in the coming days, which has increased diplomatic activity in the region.
