The Taliban Regime on Monday accused Pakistan of serious military actions, claiming Pakistani aircraft violated Afghan airspace and caused civilian deaths.

The allegations were made by Deputy Minister of Information and Culture Muhajer Farahi during a press briefing in Kabul.

Afghan defensive forces responded by launching operations along the UN marked border areas, targeting what he described as Pakistani military positions,he added.

Taliban officials claimed these actions led to heavy losses on the Pakistan’s side, including the destruction of several posts and the deaths of dozens of soldiers. They also alleged that Pakistan later carried out fresh aerial attacks on Kabul and other locations.

According to the Taliban, this prompted retaliatory strikes on several Pakistani cities, including Islamabad. The group insisted its forces are fully capable of defending Afghan territory and would respond firmly to any future aggression.

However, Pakistan swiftly rejected these claims and issued a strong response. Officials in Islamabad warned that any further hostile actions or accusations would be met with a decisive reply.

Pakistan stressed that it remains committed to defending its sovereignty and security, while dismissing Taliban statements as exaggerated and misleading.

At the same time, Pakistan urged calm and restraint. Authorities called on the Pakistan’s public, religious scholars, and political parties not to allow tensions to spiral into a wider conflict.

Officials warned that continued militarization and heated rhetoric could damage regional stability and further strain Pakistan’s already fragile economy.

Pakistan also reaffirmed its long standing position that it does not seek confrontation with Afghanistan. It reiterated support for peaceful relations based on mutual respect and clear borders.

Islamabad emphasized that dialogue remains the only workable path forward, but made it clear that any aggression would not go unanswered.
