Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif unequivocally denounced the recent U.S. military strikes, which, according to him, came in the wake of eight days of unprovoked and unjustified aggression by Israel. Additionally, he raised grave concerns about the nature of the attacks, stating that they deliberately targeted Iranian facilities protected under the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) safeguards. He further stated that these strikes constituted not only a serious breach of international law but also a direct violation of the IAEA Statute.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister extended heartfelt condolences for the lives lost and offered prayers for the quick recovery of the injured. Through his remarks, he reinforced Pakistan’s consistent advocacy for sovereignty, adherence to international norms, and the right of every nation to peace and security.
Call for De-escalation and Dialogue
