Successful CTD Operation Eliminates Terrorist Commander

KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA – In a major counterterrorism operation, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police’s Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), alongside district police and civilian intelligence agencies, killed a terrorist commander in Karak.

According to a CTD spokesperson, the operation lasted over four hours, culminating in the elimination of Nisar Hakim, the commander of the banned terrorist group Fitna-ul-Khawarij. Four security personnel were injured during the raid, but their condition has been reported as stable. 

Terrorist Linked to Multiple Attacks

Reports indicate that the slain commander was involved in numerous terrorist attacks across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Authorities also recovered a significant cache of weapons and ammunition from the site.

Police Commend Brave Officers

Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Zulfqar Hameed, congratulated the CTD, Kurram police, and other law enforcement agencies on the successful operation. He stated, “Our brave personnel, who put their lives at risk to foil the designs of terrorists, are the pride of Pakistan. The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police remain the guardians of peace and stability in the province.”
