Pakistan’s Role in US Iran Talks Gains International Attention
US President Donald Trump has praised Pakistan for its role in helping ease tensions between the United States and Iran. Speaking to the media, he said Pakistan has played a strong and positive role in supporting the ceasefire efforts. He also appreciated the leadership in Islamabad for its efforts in keeping dialogue alive between the two sides.
Trump went a step further and said that if a final deal with Iran is reached in Islamabad, he may consider visiting Pakistan. His remarks have added fresh attention to Pakistan’s growing diplomatic role in the region.
Iran Negotiations Move Forward as Ceasefire Efforts Continue
