Kabul, Afghanistan – Rosemary DiCarlo, the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, has arrived in Kabul for a high-level visit. According to sources, DiCarlo will meet with officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan today (Saturday) and hold additional meetings with other stakeholders.

The visit comes amid ongoing international concerns over governance, humanitarian conditions, and human rights in Afghanistan.
