Kabul, Afghanistan – Rosemary DiCarlo, the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, has arrived in Kabul for a high-level visit. According to sources, DiCarlo will meet with officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan today (Saturday) and hold additional meetings with other stakeholders.

The visit comes amid ongoing international concerns over governance, humanitarian conditions, and human rights in Afghanistan. UN officials emphasize that such engagements aim to assess the situation on the ground and discuss possible cooperation to address urgent humanitarian and political challenges.
