In Afghanistan’s Nimroz province, fighters from Jabha-e-Isteklal reportedly carried out an attack on Zaranj Air Base, resulting in the destruction of a helicopter stationed there. According to reports, the assault took place during the night and caused damage to military equipment within the airbase.

Sources say that following the attack, security around the airbase was tightened while details of the incident are being collected. Initial reports indicate that the attackers specifically targeted a helicopter parked inside the base, destroying it completely.

No official statement has yet been released by Taliban authorities regarding the incident. Security analysts note that tensions have recently increased in Nimroz and surrounding areas between various resistance groups and Taliban forces.
