Today, Pakistan’s armed forces carried out multiple precision airstrikes across various locations in Kandahar, striking critical infrastructure linked to Taliban operations. Officials confirmed that these operations focused on facilities used for military planning and operational coordination.

According to the Pakistan Strategic Forum, at least four high-value sites were hit during the strikes. One of the main targets was the Special Forces headquarters in District 13, known as the “crown jewel” of Taliban Supreme Leader Hibatullah Akhundzada. The GDI headquarters in Kandahar was also targeted. These sites serve as key hubs for planning and coordinating Taliban security operations as well as units tasked with protecting their leadership.

Sources indicate that the strikes have caused significant concern within the Taliban leadership. Further official details and assessments are expected in the coming hours as authorities evaluate the outcomes of the operations.

Pakistan emphasizes that these actions are strictly aimed at militant infrastructure and are part of ongoing efforts to neutralize cross-border threats and maintain regional security.
