Karachi-A major Indian intelligence network linked to RAW has been dismantled in Karachi through a joint operation by Sindh’s Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and federal agencies. The breakthrough came during investigations into the murder of 45-year-old Abdul Rehman in Badin, who was targeted on May 18.

RAW Network Uncovered

Investigations revealed RAW’s involvement in terrorism and targeted killings across Pakistan. Evidence showed the network operated safe houses in Karachi and received financial and logistical support from RAW. Terror plots were planned abroad with direct backing from Indian handlers.

Key Agents and Operations

RAW agent Sanjay Sanjeev Kumar, alias “Fauji,” recruited two Pakistanis, Salman and Arsalan, from a Gulf state. Salman then formed a target-killer gang comprising Umair, Sajjad, Ubaid, and Shakeel. RAW funded these operations through banking channels, providing significant amounts for terrorism and assassinations. The suspects admitted working as RAW’s local operatives and confessed to links with the banned SRA.

Weapons and Evidence Seized

The raid led to the recovery of weapons, including 9mm and 30-bore pistols, 125 mortar shells, and an explosive device. Further investigations confirmed RAW’s role in multiple terror attacks and bombings in Karachi and other cities. CTD has registered cases under anti-terrorism laws, and the suspects admitted to receiving Indian funding for targeted killings in Pakistan.
