Islamabad – Recently, Ehsanullah Ehsan, the former spokesperson of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the mastermind of the APS attack, made a statement claiming that Pakistan does not want to end the ongoing conflict in Kashmir; rather, Pakistan wants the war in Kashmir to continue. This statement was heavily sensationalized by the Indian media. Indian media outlets and social media accounts gave it extensive coverage and actively promoted a narrative around it.
History bears witness that India has never let such opportunities slip by. India, within its capacity, has consistently engaged in propaganda to portray Pakistan as a terrorist and extremist state, both in the region and on the global stage.

On one hand, India claims that Pakistan is a safe haven for terrorists, but on the other hand, when an incident aligns with Indian interests, the Indian media starts paving the way in its favor. It begins issuing such statements that it becomes difficult to tell whether this is the same country that was constantly raising a hue and cry about terrorism and making all sorts of accusations.
On one hand, there is the propaganda of the Indian government and media. But if we look at the facts, the Indian government itself is suppressing public rights under its own patronage. Not only that, but it is also violating the rights of Sikhs living in India. Anyone who raises a voice for justice—such as those supporting the Khalistan movement—is subjected to violence and imprisonment.
The terrorism carried out against Indian Muslims in areas like Occupied Kashmir, Ahmedabad, and Gujarat is no secret to anyone.
None of this is hidden from Prime Minister Narendra Modi or the Indian media. The truth is that wherever India’s interests are involved, extremism, violence, and oppression are presented in such a way that it appears as if no injustice or wrongdoing is taking place at all.
