Islamabad – H.E. Dr. Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty, the Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, arrived in Islamabad on Sunday morning for an official visit.

He will hold formal talks with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, who is leading the Pakistani delegation.

The Foreign Office emphasized that the visit reflects the long-standing, cordial, and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Egypt, which are rooted in a shared faith, cultural harmony, and common stances on regional and international issues. The Egyptian Embassy in Islamabad described the visit as “very important.”

During his time in the capital, the Egyptian Foreign Minister is scheduled to hold formal talks with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

The two countries will review all aspects of bilateral relations and discuss key regional and global issues, with a special focus on the critical situation in Gaza.

According to the Foreign Office, this meeting is designed to give a stronger, broader, and strategic direction to the relationship. Discussions will specifically aim to promote political, economic, defence, cultural, and people-to-people contacts, ensuring the partnership continues to flourish and fostering greater collaboration within the Muslim world.
