ISLAMABAD, March, 29 – Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, Pakistan has intensified its diplomatic efforts as Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held an important meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
The meeting, held at the Foreign Office, included detailed discussions on bilateral relations between Pakistan and Egypt, mutual cooperation, and the overall regional situation.
According to diplomatic sources, Türkiye’s Foreign Minister is also expected to arrive at the Foreign Office soon for talks with Ishaq Dar, while following the arrival of the Saudi Foreign Minister, an important four-nation meeting is anticipated between the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Egypt.
Sources say the objective of this high-level diplomatic engagement is to reduce tensions in the Middle East, pave the way for a ceasefire, and formulate a joint strategy.
Analysts believe that Islamabad is emerging as a key diplomatic hub in the region, where major global and regional powers are actively engaging for peace efforts.
