Attempts by India-linked circles to label Pakistan’s concerns about a possible “false flag” operation as propaganda have drawn a strong response from Pakistani social media users and analysts, who described it as a strategy to divert attention from facts.
According to Indian reports, Pakistan’s warning about a potential “false flag” action by India is being portrayed as a coordinated disinformation campaign aimed at creating justification for a possible move. This claim has been circulated by certain Indian social media accounts and segments of the media.
On the other hand, voices in Pakistan have rejected these claims, stating that the situation is quite the opposite. They argue that Indian institutions are trying to present themselves as victims after facts have begun to surface. A widely shared reaction on social media stated, “After being caught red-handed, they are now trying to portray themselves as the affected party while blaming those exposing the facts. This is a typical diversion tactic.”
According to Pakistani circles, some media outlets and associated networks in India have previously made allegations against Pakistan without evidence, and the current claims appear to be a continuation of that pattern.
Analysts say such accusations are part of a broader information war, where one side attempts to suppress facts and shape global opinion by placing preemptive blame on the opponent.
