In a suicide VBIED attack on Domail police station in Bannu district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, five people were killed, including three women and a child, while four police officers were injured in the subsequent firing.

According to local sources, the explosion was extremely powerful, causing severe damage to the police station’s wall, and completely destroying two nearby houses. Reports also indicate that some people were trapped and injured under the debris.

Sources said that immediately after the blast, heavy gunfire erupted, spreading fear and panic in the area, while security forces quickly responded and cordoned off the area.

Officials confirmed that the casualties include women and a child, and several injured individuals have been transferred to nearby hospitals. Rescue operations are ongoing.

Security sources verified the incident, stating that the nature and background of the attack are under investigation, while a clearance operation is underway in the area to eliminate any further threats.

Authorities added that full details will be released soon, and security has been further tightened in the region.
