Islamabad: Iran’s Foreign Ministry has confirmed that no meetings are scheduled between Iranian and US officials during the ongoing visit of Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to Pakistan.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei stated that the visit is part of an official diplomatic engagement, with Araghchi already having arrived in Islamabad alongside a government delegation. He clarified that the visit does not include any planned interaction with US representatives.

According to international media reports, the Iranian delegation is expected to share its assessments and observations with Pakistani authorities during a series of meetings in the capital. The discussions are likely to focus on regional developments and ongoing diplomatic efforts.

Officials say the visit underscores continued coordination between Tehran and Islamabad on key regional issues, while maintaining a clear distinction from any direct Iran–US engagement during this trip.
